Built inside a 53-year-old window & siding company that did it the hard way for far too long. Every agent earned its place by taking work off our own team's plate first.
The origin story
We were a contractor with a good crew, a full schedule, and a phone that rang after hours with nobody to answer it. Leads went cold in the minutes after they came in. Reps walked into the room without the right price in their hand. Job costs showed up a month late, when it was too late to do anything about them.
So we stopped buying tools and started building coworkers. One agent to answer the phone. One to price every job right in the room and close it on the first sit. One to watch the money job by job. Then production, service, records, hiring. each one added only after the last one proved itself on real work.
What came out the other side wasn't software we hoped would help contractors. It was the back office of a working contractor, running itself. Other owners saw it and asked to hire it. That's Ozz.
